Version 1.7.1-beta (2020-06-07)

The game now properly migrates profile data to the new save format – if your profile disappeared in the new version, go to the following folder:

%APPDATA% on Windows
~/.config on Linux
~/Library/Application Support on macOS

Then enter the folder “core-defense”, rename the file profiles.sav to something else and then start the game again. Your profile should now be imported correctly!
